In the year 1662 AD, a man from Nabak named Touma came to and settled in the city of Homs in the Syrian Arab Republic. There, he had two sons named Ibrahim and Mikhail. Ibrahim fathered Na'ma, but nothing is known about Mikhail. Na'ma later had a son whom he named Ibrahim. Ibrahim was knock-kneed, and for this reason, he was nicknamed “Farkouh.” This is the first ancestor of the Farkouh family.
